Vegan Pancakes

Pancakes that are not only Vegan but still fluffy and taste as good as any.  If you serve them without telling anyone they are milk and egg free they would never know.  Make em taste em and let me know what you think :)

Vegan Pancakes

Light fluffy pancakes that you would never know were vegan if someone else made them.

Prep Time : 15 minutes. Cook Time : 8 minutes Yield : 12 pancakes

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together into medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mix water and flax meal in a small bowl then and add melted butter and vanilla.
  3. Stir liquid mixture into the dry ingredients (its OK to have small lumps in mixture)
  4. Cook the pancakes over medium-high heat on the stove-top (or 375F on electric frying pans).
  5. Cook pancakes until the tops are bubbly and the bottoms browned.
  6. Turn the pancakes over to cook other side (approximately four minutes per side).
  7. Serve hot with margarine, honey, brown sugar or maple syrup.
